This Castelo do Sulco Sel. from Enólogos is a real journey into the Serra de São Jorge, driven by Trincadeira which provides a good, robust body, beautifully balanced by Garnacha that brings a welcome burst of freshness and ripe fruit. You can really taste the soil of the Tejo River region – a remarkably focused wine, thanks to the vineyard’s location on Monte Murchão. It won a gold medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards, suggesting it would pair wonderfully with a nicely grilled fish.
