When U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower visited Spain in 1959, the Perelada was tasked with selecting a cava for the welcome banquet. The Gran Claustro Cuvée Especial is the result of that success. This Gran Reserva Brut Nature cava is crafted artisanaly and aged in the convent’s cellars beside the Perelada Castle, where Carmelite monks have been making wine for six centuries.
