In 1942, the company CAVES IMPÉRIO - Imperial Vinícola, Lda was established, dedicated to the production of wines and liqueurs. In 1981 it adopted the designation CAVES IMPÉRIO, S.A. The following year, thanks to its location and the commitment of its partners, the first warehouse and cellar for wine ageing and natural sparkling wine production using the champagne method were built. In the years that followed the facilities were expanded, the product range broadened, and quality was further refined to satisfy even the most demanding consumer.
