After 75 years of producing sparkling wine by the classic method, as in Champagne, the experience gained demands constant rigor and quality for the São Domingos brand. The result of a very slow and gentle first pressing is a cuvée made from Baga and Sauvignon Blanc grapes. A perfect blend of complexity and freshness, the Baga and Sauvignon Blanc give this cuvée its character. The elegance of the meeting, with its charm and surprising seduction, comes from the originality of pairing a Bairrada queen red grape with a French white, producing a unique fragrance with balanced aromas that create the right blend for this sparkling wine. The use of the first pressing – the “tear” that emerges from each of these precious grapes – and the aging in the cellar for 30 months complete this exceptional work. (illustrative image only)
