The bottles of older wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is expected given their age. The National Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always opts to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that, by norm, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of older wines. However, we inform that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle, aromas are subject to different evolutions. In this way, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product's quality, given that it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate beforehand, as it will help release its natural aromas after so many years closed. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, make sure to do so patiently to detect the appearance of sediment that an old wine tends to produce. (illustrative image)
