The hand-picked grapes, grown on granite soils and boasting a certified “selva” (wild yeast), showcase the character of this Castelão-related variety – a captivating blend of intensely ripe black fruit flavours alongside woodland nuances. Extended spontaneous fermentation and maceration have resulted in a remarkably concentrated wine, beautifully balanced by a persistent freshness. A truly bold statement, ideal with grilled beef.
