It is no coincidence that Famille Perrin is the leading producer of organic wine in the South Rhône Valley, where they occupy the finest terroirs of the region. Their values have earned them a worldwide reputation for excellence: absolute respect for the soil, a commitment to manual methods, and a deep conviction that organic viticulture is the only way to express the true essence of terroir. Moreover, the family’s combined talents ensure the continuity of their unique expertise. Nature and tradition are the keys to the Perrin family’s path, a philosophy that has flowed uninterrupted through five generations. The earliest evidence of Château de Beaucastel in its present form dates back to the 16th century. Purchased in 1549 by Pierre de Beaucastel, the Perrin family now carries on the estate’s legacy. Château de Beaucastel spans 130 hectares, of which only 100 hectares are planted with vines that produce its wines: Château de Beaucastel (Châteauneuf‑de‑Pape) and Coudoulet de Beaucastel (Côtes‑du‑Rhône).
