It is no coincidence that the Perrin family is the leading producer of organic wine in the Southern Rhône Valley, where they occupy the finest terroirs in the region. Their values have earned them a worldwide reputation for excellence: absolute respect for the soil, a commitment to manual methods, and a deep conviction that organic viticulture is the only way to express the true essence of the terroir. Moreover, the combination of talents within the family ensures the continuity of their unique expertise. Nature and tradition are the keys to the Perrin family’s path, and this approach has carried on seamlessly for five generations. The earliest evidence of Château de Beaucastel as it exists today dates back to the 16th century. Purchased in 1549 by Pierre de Beaucastel, the property is now continued by the Perrin family. The château covers a total area of 130 hectares, but only 100 hectares are planted with vines that give rise to its Château de Beaucastel (Châteauneuf-du-Pape) and Coudoulet de Beaucastel (Côtes-du-Rhône) wines.
