Description

Named in homage to Charlemagne, this Fronsac red originates from a parcel of clayey and limestone soils where, just like in its blend, Merlot predominates. The artist and winemaker Arnaud Roux‑Oulié is responsible for its production, and as every year he adorns the label with a fresh, original illustration. The 2022 vintage pays tribute to the 60th anniversary of the first James Bond film, adding to the allure of a mature wine with abundant red and black fruit, notes of chocolate and tobacco, a velvety texture, mature tannins, and an excellent finish.
