This Chryseia 3 LT is a real head-scratcher from the Douro – a red wine that feels straight out of a storybook. You can definitely sense the influence of Roriz and Perdiz grapes, intimately familiar with the region's unique terroir, yet it’s been given a contemporary edge thanks to barrel aging in France. It’s got a rather distinctive flavour profile, and I'd recommend pairing it with a hearty black pork roast to really balance its intensity.
