Casa Relvas is a family project, founded in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas, with the aim of continuing a five‑generation legacy steeped in a passion for the Alentejo and its authentic character. Over the years the family has grown alongside the business, and today the estate spans roughly 750 ha of montado forest, 225 ha of olive grove, and 350 ha of vineyard, all under integrated production. With its three estates – Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede – Casa Relvas can produce about 6 million bottles of wine a year, 70 % of which are destined for the external market, and it is present in more than 30 countries worldwide, offering the best of the Alentejo.
