Casa Relvas is a family‑run venture that began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas. Its goal is to carry on a five‑generation legacy rooted in a deep love for the Alentejo and its authentic landscape. Over the years the family has grown in tandem with the business, and today the estate covers roughly 750 hectares of montado forest, 225 hectares of olive trees and 350 hectares of vineyards—all managed with 100 % integrated production. With its three properties—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce about 6 million bottles of wine each year. Around 70 % of that volume is destined for the export market, allowing the wines to be found in more than 30 countries worldwide, where they showcase the very best of Alentejo.
