Casa Relvas is a family‑run project that began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas. It aims to carry on a legacy spanning five generations, all fueled by a deep passion for the Alentejo and its authentic character. Over the years the family has grown hand‑in‑hand with the business, and today the estate covers roughly 750 hectares of montado forest, 225 hectares of olive grove, and 350 hectares of vineyards—all managed under integrated production. With its three estates—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce about 6 million bottles of wine each year. Approximately 70 % of that output is destined for the international market, and the winery is available in more than 30 countries worldwide, offering the best of the Alentejo.
