Casa Relvas is a family project that began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas, with the aim of continuing a five‑generation legacy steeped in a deep passion for the Alentejo and its authentic character. Over the years the family grew hand‑in‑hand with the business, and today it encompasses about 750 ha of montado forest, 225 ha of olive groves, and 350 ha of vineyards all managed under 100 % integrated production. With the three estates – Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede – Casa Relvas is able to produce around 6 million bottles of wine each year, 70 % of which are destined for the international market, making it present in more than 30 countries worldwide and offering the very best of the Alentejo.
