This Ciconia from Casa Relvas seems to have been roused by a nocturnal encounter, followed by a revitalising slumber in both French and American oak barrels. The Touriga Nacional, a truly emblematic Alentejo grape, presents beautifully balanced, with a maceration that lends it body and ripe fruit. Definitely a smart choice to pair with grilled beef – perhaps a delicious pormezgo to finish it off.
