Description

Clandestino Red Wine is the result of the harmonious union of two grape varieties grown on the private terroir of Quinta da Teixuga. The blend is made from two international varieties, fermented together to create a superior integration of their distinct qualities. One variety is celebrated for its aromatic profile, with rich hues and notes of ripe white fruits, while the other emphasizes austerity and delicacy, offering subtle floral touches that enhance the wine’s balance. In the mouth, the weight and density of one variety harmoniously contrast with the firmness and restraint of the other. One grape is renowned for its vivid color and aromatic intensity; the other, in contrast, is known for its subtle hue and restrained aromas, giving rise to a wine that captures the best of both worlds. The exuberant aromatics of one bring tones of red and black berries, complemented by the finesse and crispness of the other, whose soft aromas reveal black cherry, dark chocolate, pepper, and a refreshing minerality.
