The bottles of aged wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, as expected for their age. The National Cellar is committed to storing all wines at the proper temperature and humidity, yet it always opts to preserve the visual character inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that, by norm, reveal distinct characteristics in old‑wine tastings. However, we note that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle, aromas evolve in various ways. Consequently, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, given it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate beforehand, which will help release its natural aromas after many years closed.
