“Código” by Adega No Rules Wines, in collaboration with Infusões com História, is a delightfully daring experiment. Tiago Macena and Miguel Moreira have crafted a wine that boldly challenges expectations, using locally-sourced herbs – bay leaf, black alder, and beautiful balm – to add an unexpected layer of complexity. The fermentation, a careful balance of stainless steel and French oak barrels, brilliantly weaves together these aromatic nuances, resulting in refreshing mint and camphor notes.
