Founded in 1981, Herdade de Coelheiros is a family‑run estate that has earned recognition for producing wines of unquestionable quality, both nationally and internationally. Spanning 800 hectares, of which 50 are dedicated to vineyards, the estate is located in the municipality of Arraiolos, known for its weavers who create some of Portugal’s most beautiful traditional crafts – the famous Arraiolos rugs. Herdade de Coelheiros chose to honour this land’s cultural identity on its wine labels, giving rise to the brand’s first wine in 1991. (illustrative image only)
