This Colares Viúva Gomes is, essentially, a Ramisco that’s clearly had a chat with some of the region’s finest black fruits. Cherry and blackberry playfully tango with a vibrant acidity – a sign of a wine that’s certainly worth watching develop. A distinctly characterful wine from Lisboa, perfect with a good roasted lamb shank, naturally.
