Hand-picked and gently crushed with Trincadeira, Touriga Nacional, Vinhas Velhas and Aragonez, it bursts onto the palate with the intense flavour of ripe berries, reminiscent of a vibrant tomato compote – perfect alongside a hearty rabbit and small potatoes, naturally. Following 22 months ageing in new French oak barrels, it boasts an incredibly refined texture, balanced by a lively acidity that the Wine Enthusiast recognised with a well-deserved 94 points.
