This Conde de Cantanhede is already showing off a beautiful straw hue, and it certainly lives up to the expectation. Initially, you’re greeted with notes of white fruit jelly, alongside toasted cereals, vanilla – a clear nod to its time in oak – and a delicate hint of caramel. The texture is incredibly smooth, and the finish is remarkably persistent, earning it a well-deserved 17 points from Grandes Escolhas. It’s a fantastic match for fresh seafood or a good paté.
