The bottles of aged wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is expected given their age. The National Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that, in general, reveal distinct characteristics in aged wine tastings. However, we inform you that wine is a living organism that, even when sealed in a bottle, is subject to different evolutions over time. Thus, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate beforehand, as this will help release its natural aromas after many years closed. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, make sure to do so patiently to detect the appearance of sediment, which a vintage wine tends to develop. (illustrative image only)
