This Corte Viola Lambrusco has clearly taken a little nap amongst the vines of Emilia-Romagna – it’s bursting with youthful red fruit, notably cherries and blackberries, which are rather cheeky, to be honest. Made with the Sorbara Lambrusco grape, it delivers a wonderfully vibrant acidity, as if the wine is daring you to a game of chess. Light and refreshing, it’s a fantastic match for fresh cheeses or a good, rustic pizza.
