This Cortem Syrah & Petite Syrah, grown organically, delivers a wonderfully bold red wine. The Syrah grapes, as expected, burst with ripe black fruit aromas and a subtle hint of spice, very characteristic of the Douro region. Adding a welcome layer of complexity, the Petite Syrah introduces herbaceous notes that provide an unexpected freshness. A fantastic pairing with a hearty beef roast, or perhaps some wild mushrooms – a wine that’s already garnered a prize at the International Wine Challenge.
