Areia Tinto 2021, Granito Tinto 2021, Calcário Tinto 2021: A study of terroirs. In the 2021 harvest, the result of ongoing soil studies and the consulting of Pedro Parra, the best plot was selected in each of the three parent rock types—limestone, granite and volcanic sand. From each vineyard, the finest 500‑L barrel was chosen and bottled. With the aim of keeping the remaining variables as consistent as possible to highlight the terroir differences, the variety is Syrah, planted on all three soils.
