Cortes do Reguengo Branco is made from Rabigato, Gouveio and Viosinho grapes, harvested by hand and fermented in 500 L barrels, before ageing for nine months. It shows a bright yellow colour, with rich, complex aromas that blend floral notes with a subtle smokiness from the wood. Quinta do Reguengo lies in the Douro Superior sub‑region, beside the Douro River at Pocinho, Vila Nova de Foz Côa, on clay‑silt soils that feature granite outcrops. These soils, together with varying altitudes, exposures and grape varieties, are shaped by the warm, humid winds of the Douro Valley and cooler breezes from Spain, creating ideal conditions for steady grape ripening. Enology is overseen by Pedro Branco, also the mastermind behind the Família Silva Branco wines. (illustrative image only)
