Let’s just say, Guigal never disappoints – a truly classic Rhône with a delightfully mysterious quality. This bottling showcases the Syrah beautifully, delivering ripe black fruit and those characteristic spice notes. It’s the result of a meticulous winemaking approach, deeply rooted in respecting the terroir, and the complexity is genuinely promising. Seriously, it’s superb with cured meats or aged sheep’s cheese, or, if you're feeling adventurous, a hearty lambic – a safe bet, certainly, but with a soul that refuses to be entirely predictable.
