The bottles of aged wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is consistent with their age. The National Wine Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance characteristic of their age. We conduct a selection of brands and regions that, as a rule, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of aged wines. However, we inform you that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even inside a bottle, its aromas are subject to different evolutions. Thus, the National Wine Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product's quality, given that it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate beforehand, as this will help release its natural aromas after so many years closed. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, do so patiently to detect the appearance of sediment that aged wine tends to develop. *(illustrative image only)*
