The bottles of vintage wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, as expected for their age. The National Cellar is committed to storing all wines at the proper temperature and humidity, yet it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance that comes with age. We select brands/regions that, as a rule, reveal distinct characteristics when tasting old wines. However, we remind you that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle its aromas are subject to different evolutions. Accordingly, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, since it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe first, as this will help release its natural aromas after so many years closed. If you choose to decant before serving, be sure to do so patiently to detect the sediment that an old wine tends to develop. (Illustrative image only)
