Crasto – The Wine of Douro Crasto Branco is crafted from a selection of the finest grapes, offering a modern style with exceptional freshness and aromatic expression. The vineyards, over 20 years old, are situated at 600 m altitude on granite soils with north-facing exposure. Viticulture follows a systematic vine‑to‑height system and two tiers, which promotes excellent drainage and sun exposure. **Vinification:** The grapes, sourced from selected plots, were transported in 22‑kg crates and meticulously sorted in the cellar. After destemming and pressing, the must was transferred to a stainless‑steel tank at 8 °C, where it decanted for 48 hours. Primary alcoholic fermentation took place mainly in stainless‑steel tanks, with a small portion of the batch fermenting in barrels at 14 °C for 30 days. **Aging:** 85 % of the batch fermented and aged in stainless‑steel tanks for 3 months, with partial bâtonnage over the fine lees.
