A light amber color with a delightful bouquet of almonds, wet earth, fudge, and lemon peel. What is most impressive—given how difficult it is to produce a younger, substantive dry Madeira—is its dryness, followed by a surprisingly complex flavor profile. Acidity is also present, and the use of Tinta Negra Mole gives a rounder taste than the Sercial typically provides at this age.
