Depending on age, these wines may show the marks of time: dust inside the bottles and/or faded labels, common after decades of storage. The National Cellar keeps all bottles at proper temperature and humidity, yet preserves the visual character of their age. We usually choose regions that perform well in old‑wine competitions, but the wine remains a living organism, evolving even within a sealed bottle. Open and let it breathe first to release natural aromas; avoid decanting, which can be too aggressive for aged wines.
