D'Arenberg The Dead Arm Shiraz owes its name to the grapevine disease eutypiosis, known in English as “dead arm,” caused by the fungus *Eutypa lata* which dries out part of the vine’s arms, killing the wood, while the grapes on the healthy side still mature, showing exceptional intensity. This 100 % Shiraz cuvée comes from vines afflicted by that disease and is the most popular wine from the Australian winery in McLaren Vale. Concentrated, complex and with a strong personality.
