Older wine bottles may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is to be expected given their age. The National Cellar is committed to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands and regions that, by default, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of vintage wines. However, we inform you that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even while sealed in a bottle, its aromas evolve in different ways. Therefore, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe beforehand, as this will help release its natural aromas after many years closed. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, make sure you do so patiently to detect the appearance of sediment that an aged wine tends to develop. (illustrative image only)
