Born from a decidedly old-school approach, this wine showcases the soulful rhythm of foot treading on granite lagares in the Douro. A prolonged fermentation, almost a week in fact, yielded a remarkably textured wine. Despite necessary clarification, a subtle mystery remains, hinting at a fleeting haze – a gentle reminder of the Douro’s wild heart. Wonderful with grilled beef, it’s a companion for the long haul.
