“Ruby Reserva” from Dona Maria is a truly layered wine, born from over 25 different grape varieties – with Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional leading the charge, balanced by a touch of Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca. Grown on vines some dating back 25 years, the south-western exposure of the vineyards delivers a complex and elegant character. It’s a fantastic pairing with a good Iberian ham, the fruit and structure of the wine beautifully complementing the saltiness and richness of the cured meat.
