This Dom Diogo is, apparently, a wine that prides itself on being “rigorously” selected – and it seems Padeiro has certainly given it their all in this rosé. The meticulous winemaking with low pressure suggests a desire to retain freshness, and the awards (including a Duplo Sakura Wine Awards!) indicate someone’s keeping a close eye on things. Perfect for a light, easy drinking experience, but with a profile that’ll happily accompany a salad or some grilled fish. Don’t expect fireworks, but you can be sure of an enjoyable time.
