It is one of the great domaines of Burgundy, and of the world. Much of its success can be attributed to Charles Rousseau, who took the reins of the domaine in 1959 after the premature death of his father. He was the one who introduced this fantastic domaine and its wines to the world. Today, Eric Rousseau, his descendant, is at the helm, following in his predecessor's footsteps. Domaine Rousseau covers about 13.5 hectares of vineyards. (illustrative image)
