This Pinot Noir from Domaine Bohrmann is a wonderfully refined example of Burgundy – a testament to patience, really. Fifteen years ageing in French oak have layered remarkable complexity, beautifully accentuating the wine’s already vibrant acidity. Expect nuances recalling the terroir of Gevrey-Chambertin, and it would be superb with roasted chicken or a hearty beef dish, to be honest.
