This Chablis Blanchot is a Grand Cru made from Chardonnay grapes grown on a 35‑year‑old vineyard planted on clay‑limestone soils. After vinification, part of the wine is aged in French oak barrels from the Allier forest for 10 to 12 months, then transferred to stainless‑steel tanks to complete the stabilization process. The wine is lightly filtered before bottling to preserve its exuberant aromas. Thus, it presents a yellow colour with greenish hues, a floral nose, and a round palate that finishes with a mineral note. Domaine Daniel Dampt & Fils boasts over 150 years of viticultural history, operating a 30‑hectare estate in Burgundy that produces Chablis and Chablis Premier Cru wines, including Vaillons, Fourchaume, Côte de Lechet, Les Lys, and Beauroy. The family-run estate manages its vines sustainably to protect the environment and preserve the natural character of the Chardonnay grape. (Illustrative image only)
