The Bila‑Haut Occultum Lapidem Branco is a wine whose grapes—up to three different varieties—come from Latour in France, an area within the Côtes du Roussillon appellation in the Rhône region. The vineyards where it is produced are planted on gneiss soils, giving this white wine an unmistakable minerality. It spends part of its maturation in barrels, specifically 600‑liter “demi‑barrels,” mostly new. The result is a fresh yet slightly oily wine, perfect for pairing with a wide range of dishes. Its nose is dominated by stone‑fruit notes, with a toasted, vanilla‑laden finish. Absolutely seductive.
