One of the most renowned and envied among all Burgundy producers worldwide, the Domaine’s history intertwines with that of the Côte de Nuits itself, spanning centuries and trends until reaching today. The Societé Civile du Domaine de la Romanée‑Conti (DRC) is run by two families, Leroy and Villaine, represented respectively by Henry‑Frederic Roch, nephew of Madame Lalou Bize‑Leroy, and Aubert de Villaine. The wines are absolutely brilliant in their purity, precision and lightness. They have enormous ageing potential, sometimes needing a good decade in the cellar to show their full glory.
