Domaine du Gour de Chaulé is a 10‑hectare estate located in the Côtes du Rhône sub‑region of Gigondas. The diversity of the terroir and sunny exposure enrich the aromas of the wines produced there. The average vine age is about 55 years, with the oldest block planted by Stéphanie Eugène’s great‑grandfather in 1901. The dominant grape is Grenache, but Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Cinsault are also present, yielding low harvests as a result of minimal human intervention, preserving respect for the environment and the characteristics of the varieties. The wines are produced in a modern, efficient cellar that harnesses gravity as well as traditional vinification methods, delivering a high‑quality final product with great aging potential. The wines are not filtered before bottling, which enhances both aromatic and tannic complexity.
