Old wine bottles may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is normal for their age. The National Winery commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to the wine’s age. We select brands/regions that, in general, reveal distinct characteristics in old wine tastings. However, we note that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle, aromas are subject to different evolutions. Thus, the National Winery cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine air out first, as this will help release its natural aromas after so many years closed. If you choose to decant before serving, make sure to do so patiently to detect the appearance of sediment, which a typical old wine tends to develop. (Illustrative image)
