This wine is part of the project that brought M. Chapoutier to Spain. It is produced in concrete and steel tanks, with a one‑year ageing that alternates these tanks with wood, to maximise fruit expression. Spicy, roasted and wild‑fruit aromas dominate the nose, while on the palate it is concentrated, round and aromatic, with a velvety tannic structure. It pairs well with dishes such as young lamb tenderloin or grilled entrecôte. Tim Atkin noted in the 2020 vintage that it was one of the best crianzas of Ribera del Duero.
