This Sauvignon from the Setúbal Peninsula, aptly named “Dona Ermelinda Tardia”, arrives with a colour reminiscent of a perfectly ripe honeydew melon. The nose immediately reveals the welcome earthy influence, paired with a sweetness that’s almost a sin. On the palate, the lusciousness is beautifully balanced by a refreshing acidity – a pairing that’s utterly divine with grilled fish and lemon. A remarkably long and persistent finish, surprisingly pleasing, of course.
