Dona Maria This Dona Maria is produced in the Alentejo Region from carefully selected Petit Verdot grapes. It was fermented in marble-lined vats and aged for one year in new French oak barrels. "Fermented in marble-lined lagares (the winery is located in a city with a long tradition of marble quarrying), this wine is another example of the success of this Bordeaux variety in the Alentejo. Deep in colour and rich in tannins, it shows flavours of black plum and liquorice. The wine is practically at its ideal point of maturity.
