This “Duas Quintas” – a name that does sound a little like a TV show, I must admit – is a surprisingly expressive red wine. Built around Trincadeira Redondo and Castelão Novo, it boasts a lovely structure with firm tannins, hinting at a potential for ageing. Expect wild red fruit notes, a subtle spice influence from the Trincadeira, and a refreshing quality that would pair beautifully with grilled beef or, perhaps, a hearty roasted kid – a truly satisfying combination.
