Born from the dramatic slopes of the Cima Corgo and Douro Superior, this Duorum is a fascinating blend of tradition and a touch of clever innovation. Selected at high altitudes – between 400 and 500 metres – the grapes deliver a white wine that’s already garnered high praise from James Suckling (91/100 in 2021) and *Wine Enthusiast* (Best Buy in 2022). The winemaking, split 50/50 between French oak barrels and stainless steel, beautifully balances citrus notes – particularly of tangerine – with a luscious peach character, underpinned by a vibrant acidity. It’s a truly distinctive wine, and unsurprisingly, earned the “Escolha do Mercado” prize (Category B) from *Grandes Escolhas* in 2024, as well as 90/100 from *Altamente Recomendado*.
